All of our wearable products are custom made to order using your measurements to ensure that you receive a costume that is perfect for you.

After you order we'll reach out for the measurements we need to make your costume your own.

If there's an issue with the sizing we'll work with you to get it right.

Not at this time. Intrepid Dawn Studios specializes in the highest end DIY cosplay kit products giving you the base needed to create the cosplay of your dreams. All of our listings feature our raw prints and show the state you'll receive the items.

Whether you're going for 100% screen accuracy, 501st or Mando Mercs Club approval, or building a custom costume for your own standard our kits save you time and produce beautiful results.

Potentially. We're able to make changes like removing the mudhorn on the Mando shoulder and other minor changes on existing pieces. Additionally, we'll be willing to provide a quote to print any 3D model file you already have or can purchase if the model already exists.

For completely unique custom pieces the most time consuming and expensive part of the process is creating the 3D model. For most one-off requests this isn't financially feasible. We do work with a few 3D artists who may be willing to accept a commission to make the model. We'd be happy to get you in touch with them. After you obtain the model we'll be happy to give you a quote to print it.

Yes, with a caveat. We provide DIY kits that meet the shape language required by the club and size them to fit your body. Final acceptance is determined by your finishing work, the overall appearance of your kit, and the application team of the respective club you apply to.

We have many clients that have joined both the 501st and the MMCC. Approval is a process and you may need to rework, repaint, or adjust pieces of your kit until you are accepted.

It's also important to note that not all custom designs and armor pieces found in the build your own mando section are MMCC approved. We recommend you contact your local Rus if you have questions if a piece could be approved.

All of our pieces are printed using PLA+ and in some cases, 3D printed resin for detail pieces.

PLA+ has an excellent mix of thermal plastic properties including tensile strength and eco-friendly ingredients. Compared to other types of plastic this is long term bio-degradable in a landfill.

Our specific PLA+ has a higher temperature resistance than standard PLA due to a blend of ABS particles but should not be left in the direct sunlight or in a hot car. When painting outside, do it in the shade.

Yes, our DIY armor kits are intended to be sanded and painted. Some our items like the Melted Vader helmet are printed in color and can be displayed as is.
